Mothering/Diapering The best choice for diapering is one that promotes breathability and moisture absorption. This is best achieved by combining quality cotton or flannel diapers under woollen pants. Large cotton diapers are used for general baby care and flannel diapers are best suited as an additional moisture barrier for night wear and extended outings. Tight cotton panties are worn over the cotton/flannel diaper layer to keep them in position and prevent leakage. The outermost layer of woollen pants completes the baby's diaper ensemble.
